Mika provides instruments and excellent facilitation for groups of all ages. Mika draws on skills that he has developed over 15 years facilitating drum groups for schools, camps, workshops, private and corporate events. Even participants who consider themselves non-musical are amazed with energy and fun they experience in Mika’s drumming/music events.
Instruments can be made available for groups of up to 100 people. Sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours. A 45-minute session will work well for almost any event. Drum parties can occur indoors and outdoors and don’t require special permits since the drums are not amplified.
Drum Party activities can include: Drumming on modified buckets with hands and sticks, frame drums, shakers, body percussion, singing and often culminate with everyone dancing.
