Bio
I began teaching music to children while at Cabrillo College while I completed 32 units of ECE training. I continue to teach as an independent contractor for a variety of schools and organizations. In addition, I have performed live with members of the Grateful Dead, Hamza El Din, Zero and Steve Miller. I play a number of instruments in addition to drumming and compose music which I perform on occasion as a singer-songwriter. I have written over 40 original songs for children and adults. My teaching style integrates both the cognitive as well as the creative aspects of playing music.
